Family:
Husband Glenn and son Gabriel

How did I start coming to HCKB?
Glenn was looking for a home church that felt “right”, so we started coming to Saturday night services in 2004. We loved the worship, the teachings, and especially the Kalamas, who made us feel at home

One thing I love about HCKB:
There is something for everyone here- HCKB is an eclectic group of believers bound together by love of God and a sense of purpose

What do I love most about working at HCKB?
I work alongside a dynamic bunch of leaders who are Spirit-led and an awesome circle of volunteers who tirelessly give their very best for the Kingdom

Who is most influential in my life?
My husband Glenn, because he challenges me, believes in me, loves me unconditionally, and has been placed in my life by God to help me become the person He created me to be

What inspires me?
Being outdoors; the warmth of the sun on my skin, a brisk north wind blowing, the smell of ocean spray, clear starry nights…I seem to hear God’s voice most clearly when I’m enjoying His Creation

Any hidden talents?
Listening with my ears, but hearing with my heart

Life-long goal:
My life-long dream was to become a mother, and so now my life-long goal is to raise my son to know and love the Lord

Little-known fact about me:
I was a State champion sprinter for Waialua High School

Favorite book:
I am an avid reader, so it’s easier for me to name some of my favorite authors – C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Goodkind, Roald Dahl, Terry Brooks…but I will read anything. We have a family joke – Glenn chooses and buys the books, I read ‘em!

Favorite movie:
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Restaurant:
Any place with a view, with big salads and good bread on the menu, and is child-friendly!

Food:
Since chocolate isn’t technically a food, I’ll choose pizza

Ice cream:
A dark chocolate with peanut butter swirls

Drink @ Starbucks:
I enjoy a simple hot, strong, black cuppa joe in a real mug!

Song:
A song and prayer in Hawaiian my son learned in preschool and leads us in at dinnertime

Childhood memory:
Riding my horse Moki through the mountains of Pupukea for hours with my friends
